This portrait began at home on our Wyoming cattle ranch. With nearly 800 cows to choose from, this Simmental bull clearly had a favorite—and she seemed perfectly content with the arrangement.
The original was exhibited at the National Western Stock Show Cattleman’s Club, where representatives of the National Simmental Association saw the piece and purchased it from the gallery. It was later featured on the cover of the Association’s annual sale publication.
